Fletcher Hotels acquires Dorint Hotel & Sportresort Arnsberg/Sauerland

Fletcher Hotels' international expansion continues

Fletcher Hotels continues its expansion in Germany with the acquisition of the four-star Dorint Hotel & Sportresort Arnsberg/Sauerland. From 1 December 2024, this hotel will continue under the name Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Arnsberg-Sauerland. This iconic hotel, located in the beautiful Arnsberg Forest, fits seamlessly with the philosophy of Fletcher Hotels: quality, comfort and unique sports and wellness facilities for both leisure and business guests. CEO Rob Hermans is looking forward to this new phase: "This hotel fits perfectly into our portfolio, in which sports, wellness and nature are central. We are delighted to be able to offer our guests this unique experience in the heart of beautiful Sauerland." The Waldhotel in Nordrhein-Westfalen already preceded this brand new hotel in Arnsberg-Sauerland as the first Fletcher Hotel across the border. The acquisition also takes over the current workforce. 

Dorint Hotel & Sportresort Arnsberg/Sauerland will be added to the Fletcher Hotels portfolio. A luxury four-star hotel located in the Arnsberg Forest in Germany. The restaurant at Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Arnsberg-Sauerland can seat as many as 400 people. A place where guests can enjoy good food and stunning views of the surrounding countryside. For a more informal setting, they can also visit Stube Laurenz, an authentic German brown pub that can also be hired out privately. Just 30 kilometres from Dortmund Airport and 100 kilometres from Düsseldorf Airport, the hotel is in an ideal location. With the beautiful nature of the Sauerland region right around the corner and good connections to major cities, the hotel is suitable for holidaymakers and business guests alike. 

One of the hotel's showpieces is the extensive gym, which serves an important function locally with 350 regular members. Guests can enjoy various group classes such as yoga, spinning and jumping. The combination of this gym and the many sports opportunities in the natural surroundings, such as cycling and hiking, makes Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Arnsberg-Sauerland the perfect sports hotel. In addition, the hotel boasts an impressive wellness centre of no less than 1,600 m², including three saunas, an infrared cabin and an experience cave. Here, guests can fully unwind after a day full of activities in nature. 

There is no shortage of business opportunities either. With 12 meeting rooms, many of them on the 8th floor with panoramic views over the Arnsberg valley, this is the ideal location for meetings, conferences and company celebrations. The rooms can be used flexibly for events for up to 350 people. Although the hotel already has modern facilities, Fletcher Hotels intends to carry out a soft renovation. This is to subtly modernise the hotel's appearance, while retaining its authentic charm.
