ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, a leading provider of advanced security technology for the hospitality industry, is honoured to announce details of its latest award achievement with the naming of VingCard Novel as this year's Product Design winner at the Red Dot Design Awards. Internationally recognised as one of the most sought-after labels for high-quality product design, around 20,000 entries took part in the 2023 Red Dot Design Awards, with VingCard Novel ultimately winning the competition jury thanks to its stylish appearance, robust range of advanced functionalities and future-proof technology design.
With a total of 43 judges giving their verdict on this year's entrants, VingCard Novel door locks along with competing solutions were specifically analysed for their socio-cultural impact, technical focus and design expertise. VingCard Novel is a next-generation door lock solution designed to meet the hotel security needs of today and tomorrow. It received high praise for its ability to fit seamlessly into the style of any property and for its unique modular component design approach.
Although all the hardware is encapsulated in a streamlined yet customisable door handle, VingCard Novel's breakthrough advantage lies in its ability to keep pace with new technological developments and shifts in industry trends. This includes the ability to stay up-to-date with the latest security protocols while enabling integrations with third-party solutions, including with technologies yet to be made available to industrial companies.
