The MICHELIN Guide Ceremony guarantees arrival of top chefs from all over the Netherlands
Catering trade fair BBB Maastricht will start one day earlier than previous years. Especially for those interested in fine dining, part of the fair will already open on Sunday 6 October. In the fair section called Folie Culinaire, people can get to know services and products from the higher culinary segment. Exceptional is the fact that non-professionals from the catering industry are also welcome. The reason for this is the return of the Dutch MICHELIN Guide Ceremony. The organisers also want to give regional visitors the opportunity to get acquainted with the fair. The 69th edition of BBB Maastricht will take place from Sunday 6 to Wednesday 9 October at MECC Maastricht.
This edition is partly marked by the return of the MICHELIN Guide Ceremony on 8 October, also at MECC Maastricht. To introduce non-professionals to the diversity of BBB Maastricht, the Maastricht hospitality fair will open its doors one day earlier than usual. Interested parties from the (Eu)region are welcome to discover the Folie Culinaire trade fair concept. Visitors will be immersed in the world of fine dining. One gets a complete overview of products and services that take catering businesses to a higher level. More than 70 exhibitors will present, among other things, exclusive wines, special ingredients and high-end tableware. Also, two - yet to be announced - chefs will kick off at the Chef's Table. Here, visitors will enjoy a culinary three-course package at an attractive price. Afterwards, the Preview Party will take place on Sunday evening: an exclusive evening for guests and stakeholders to toast the opening of the 69th edition of BBB Maastricht. Exclusive cooking demonstrations and tastings will be organised continuously during the fair at Folie Culinaire.
Since 1955, thousands of hospitality professionals have visited the BBB Maastricht trade fair in October every year to taste, network and be inspired. The trade fair realises 'More Horeca Success' for visitors and exhibitors by stimulating meaningful encounters, sharing professional knowledge and closely following new developments. BBB Maastricht will take place from Sunday 6 to Wednesday 9 October in MECC Maastricht. Visitors can register via the website from 15 July: www.bbbmaastricht.nl.
