NXTMICE EVENT returns at Postillion Convention Centre The Hague

On Thursday 23 May, the third edition of NXTMICE will be organised at Postillion Convention Centre in The Hague. Experts and professionals from the conference and event industry will come together to share their knowledge, experiences and vision. This year, the themes are technology, economy, sustainability and diversity & inclusiveness. The insights from various knowledge sessions held earlier will be translated into a 'speech from the throne of the industry': a joint vision developed by industry peers of where the MICE industry currently stands and can and wants to move towards.

What started as a corona-era initiative to share opportunities within the one-and-a-half-meter economy has, after two editions, become a springboard of good ideas to put the MICE industry on the map. "This year, we are going one step further," says initiator Erik-Jan Ginjaar, CEO of Postillion Hotels. "The aim is to create a community of pioneering MICE professionals who want to be at the forefront of the industry. After all, we like nice words, but even more like deeds."

Earlier, some 30 MICE professionals came together in four knowledge sessions, the X-RAY DIALOGUES. During these sessions, experts interacted with MICE leaders and global sustainable, technological, economic and social trends and developments were translated into practical applications for the industry. On 23 May in the morning, the outcome will be presented, a summary of the various sessions in the 'throne speech of the industry', NXTMICE State of the Industry.

X-LAB SESSIONS will then take place, where participants will work on the new insights in hands-on workshops. They will creatively brainstorm ideas to further innovate the industry. From now and afterwards, NXTMICE XPERIENCE will share the insights with everyone in the industry via a whitepaper and a dedicated community page on LinkedIn, to make as much impact as possible with and for the industry.
