A new milestone for Fletcher Hotels when it comes to realising its growth ambitions: on 1 October, the 115th hotel under the familiar blue and white flag will open in Oisterwijk. Situated in the historic KVL factory, which formerly housed Europe's largest leather factory, Fletcher Hotels is taking over the NEO KVL Hotel. The hotel will continue under the name Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Oisterwijk-Tilburg. Rob Hermans, CEO of Fletcher Hotels, is excited about the acquisition: "With this hotel, we strengthen our offer for both the tourist, and the business guest, while retaining the historical charm of the former leather factory. The character of the location combined with the high-quality facilities and luxurious finishes makes this hotel a great addition to Fletcher Hotels."
The hotel, which opened its doors just a few years ago, is located in a fully renovated leather factory over 100 years old. The iconic property not only offers 68 stylish and warmly decorated rooms, but also houses a number of historical elements, such as old steam engines from the factory era. These machines have been fully restored and can still be in service. In addition, the property houses a fully operational brewery that can be visited, by appointment. Also, the impressive atrium, together with the bar, sky bar and restaurant, creates a luxurious ambience that will suit both business guests, and tourist looking for a surprising location to stay.
Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Oisterwijk-Tilburg will focus mainly on the business market, a segment that benefits fully from its convenient location near Tilburg and its connections to the rest of Brabant. This hotel thus contrasts with the nearby Fletcher Hotel Boschoord, which focuses more on the leisure market. Rob Hermans: "With the acquisition and lease of this hotel, we are responding to the growing demand for business accommodation in the region. The combination of a convenient location and modern facilities makes this hotel particularly attractive to business travellers. Ever since its opening, we have been impressed by this unique hotel. The developer has created a great luxury hotel with accompanying facilities in this historic factory. The fact that precisely this hotel is now continuing under the Fletcher flag makes us particularly proud."
