In recent months, Prins Hendrik Texel, located directly on the Wadden Sea, has undergone a major restyling. The hotel's restaurant and kitchen have been completely renovated and six new and luxurious hotel rooms and suites have been created. The restyling was carried out by design agency E.S.T.I.D.A.
In the north-east of Texel, lies Prins Hendrik Texel. An oasis for peace seekers and bird lovers. The hotel has 30 rooms, luxury suites and a restaurant. To meet guest demand even better, Prins Hendrik Texel has undergone a major renovation. In recent months, the restaurant and kitchen were demolished and rebuilt and six new rooms and suites were created, in the distinctive bird theme. Most of the restyling made use of natural materials. This suits the hotel perfectly: lots of wood, greenery and colour.
The existing 24 hotel rooms have already been renovated in recent years. The bird theme has been widely implemented and the rooms are equipped with all modern conveniences. The latest renovation added another 6 luxury rooms and suites.
The restaurant and kitchen have also been renovated. Guests are welcome here all day long for breakfast from the extensive buffet, a cup of coffee in one of the cosy sitting areas, a cocktail at the bar or sumptuous dinner in the restaurant.
The kitchen cooks a lot with local products and the menu features plenty of vegetable dishes, which has also earned Prins Hendrik the Waddengoud seal of approval. The menu includes Texel carpaccio, oyster mushroom sticks, sea bass and salty salad. There are large family tables for groups and intimate spots for a romantic dinner. The bar is open all day.
Prince Hendrik Texel is a stone's throw from the Wadden Sea and surrounded by three nature reserves. It has a bungalow park, hotel and restaurant.
