New general manager at Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol 

Since August 2024, Martijn Dresen is the new General Manager of Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. The hotel, located on Schiphol Boulevard with 433 rooms, opened in December 2015. The hotel is owned by Archer Hotel Capital B.V. and managed by Hilton.

With more than 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Dresen returns to Hilton and leads the team in all aspects of the hotel's operations, from marketing and finance to service and customer satisfaction. "I look forward to this new opportunity and am proud to lead the phenomenal team at Hilton Amsterdam Airport Schiphol." said Dresen. "My ultimate goal is to ensure that this hotel remains a great choice for both business travellers, and tourists by offering excellent service and amenities. In addition, I aim to take our sustainability initiatives to the next level, which will have a positive impact on the environment and the community we are in."

Prior to this new challenge, Dresen was General Manager of a cluster of two Radisson hotels in Antwerp, where he oversaw the hotels' growth. Before that, he was general manager of Crowne Plaza Maastricht, leading a high-performing team at the city's premier and largest residential conference hotel. His experience also includes several commercial and operational leadership positions over a 13-year period at various Hilton hotels in the UK.
