WestCord Hotels acquires Inntel Hotels Art Eindhoven from Inntel Hotels

The first hotel in Brabant for WestCord Hotels

Dutch hotel group WestCord Hotels will acquire Inntel Hotels Art Eindhoven from Inntel Hotels from 1 June 2023. It is the first hotel in Brabant for WestCord Hotels and the 17th hotel in its portfolio. With the departure of Eindhoven for Inntel Hotels, the focus on central and western Netherlands for the coming years has been determined for this also Dutch family-owned company.

In the heart of Eindhoven

The four-star Inntel Hotels Art Eindhoven is located in the heart of Eindhoven with the train station, Philips Stadium and Design District Strijp-S just around the corner. The hotel is largely located in the monumental Philips factory the Lichttoren, built in 1909. It also has 230 rooms, including 42 long-stay studios, a restaurant, wellness area with fitness, saunas and treatment rooms and 300 m2 of meeting space divided into three meeting rooms.

Takeover and plans with the hotel

The Westers family and the Geurts family know each other well from when they were both franchisees at Golden Tulip. The good relationship between the two family businesses will contribute to a smooth transition of the hotel. On 1 June 2023, WestCord Hotels will officially be the owner of the hotel and the transition of systems and other matters will take place. After that, the hotel group will take stock of opportunities to further deepen the special character of the property and make the hotel even more unique. All employees of Inntel Hotels Art Eindhoven will transfer to WestCord Hotels and operations will continue under the name WestCord Hotel Eindhoven.
