Noovy is an all-in-one cloud-base system that a group of developers have been working intensively on for several years. Jonatan Tsuff, co-owner of Noovy, came up with the idea while working in the hotel industry himself.
"The hotel group I worked for was looking for a new, modern system. This was just in the period before cloud working started to develop. They were looking for a single system in which all front- and back-office work could be handled optimally. Unfortunately, that desired solution did not exist at that time. I therefore started discussions with both a team of developers and several hoteliers from various countries to see what wishes there were and what was digitally possible. The hotel group for which Tsuff previously operated played an important role in the development of this new system. They served as a sounding board and test site. Tsuff: "It is a user-friendly system, but of course questions can always arise. That makes us unique. Because some other providers only supply the application. We stay in touch with the customer to offer advice."
Noovy is currently still widely used by the slightly smaller to medium-sized hotels and B&Bs. "Often these operate with about twenty or thirty to a maximum of a hundred rooms. For that, this system is optimal. However, development is not standing still. Larger hotels too will eventually make the switch." A kiosk function has advantages, according to Tsuff, but a good online check-in has more impact. Most hotels want to keep their reception, but speeding up guest check-in and check-out and automating administrative work is where online check-in is the answer. In doing so, the guest has already filled in all the necessary information and made payment, we see hotels where as many as 70 per cent of their guests have done this before arrival. That saves a lot of time. We are in constant contact with users so that we can continue to work on development to further optimise this system. This way, guests are served even better and the hotelier is further unburdened."
Since its introduction, users have remained loyal to Noovy. "For us, proof that they are content with the system and the service. That was also exactly the goal we had in mind beforehand: a long-term relationship with the users. This way, Noovy remains an innovative and progressive system. This benefits everyone.
