The endless possibilities of smart lighting

Good lighting is not only atmospheric, it also increases safety. In-lite has a complete range of smart lighting products that can be controlled with an app or a smart home system. In-lite LAB can also provide complete lighting plans for any location.

With good outdoor lighting, guests immediately receive a warm welcome. It gives an atmospheric picture and prevents stumbling or getting lost. In-lite's lighting is easy to control with the in-lite app or with a smarthome system. "At hotels, employees used to have to manually switch on the lighting of seven or eight zones," says Veronique Vorthoren, senior brand marketer at in-lite. "If all the lighting is automated, it is possible to set when and what is switched on per zone. Very smart and efficient. You can also switch indoor and outdoor lighting on and off with a command."

In-lite's smart lighting works on a low-voltage system (12V), making it very energy-efficient by itself. By using the app in combination with adjustable routines and a motion detector, the lights only come on when they are really needed. This provides additional energy savings.  

Paths and driveways can be lit in different ways: by installing floor lamps or using ground spots of different sizes. This creates a path of stars. For this, for example, alternate small LED lights such as FUSION 22 and HYVE 22 with the larger LED luminaires FUSION and HYVE. In addition to a well-lit path, this also creates an atmospheric effect. For illuminating a wide path or driveway, the free-standing outdoor luminaires ACE or EVO come into the picture. It is also possible to integrate drive-over ground spots into the paving.

Is less lighting needed at night but guests still arrive? Then the SMART MOVE wireless motion sensor offers the solution. This motion detector was developed for in-lite's SMART HUB-150 transformer. The detector is adjustable with the in-lite app and can be linked to one or more lines of the SMART HUB-150. For example, are there different lighting lines for the driveway, trees and terrace? Then you can use the app to set which lighting comes on in case of movement.

With its range of smart lighting, In-lite focuses on three themes: atmosphere, ease of use and safety. Vorthoren: "This way, the atmosphere can be tuned to the setting of the evening. For example, dimmed light for dinner or coloured lighting for parties. With the app, the possibilities are endless. The lighting can be controlled per light zone and even per luminaire: dimming, warm-white light or rather a colour from the colour circle? It's all possible. The colour lighting can be adapted to the atmosphere or theme of the event. Think, for example, of the colour of the company logo for a business event or orange on King's Day."
