"Curtains are more than just fabrics that cover windows," states Richard Breijer, owner and project consultant at furnishing company Roodbeen. "Confection is a craft," says Breijer. "We have in-house craftsmen who work on customised products every day and we are unique in the Netherlands with our own atelier. That workshop is really our pride and joy. Here we make all forms of window decoration: curtains, net curtains, folding systems, draperies, bows and more. We also upholster sofas and chairs and make cushions and bedspreads ourselves. This ensures short lines of communication: a project can be realised quickly, no matter how complex."
