Linnenatwork specialises in providing quality textiles such as fresh, soft towels, bedding and table linen. "We are constantly working on the principle that guests should feel at home. Both in a hotel and in a B&B," says owner Joost Verrest.
But experiencing the right experience is determined by more factors. Very essential is optimal sleeping comfort. Linnenatwork has been carrying an extensive range of beds at various levels for many years: Hotel Collection for three and four star levels, Suite Collection beds for the absolute best. There is also a full range of recyclable beds from the Circular Collection.
Apart from supplying regular hotel beds, Linnenatwork has recently started marketing sofa beds. Verrest: "The hotelier who knows how to respond flexibly to the need for extra sleeping places naturally generates more turnover. That is the added value of flexible beds. A fully-fledged solution can be found for every budget. We notice increasing interest in this type of beds."
Marloes van de Wiel, owner of Hotel Ryder in Den Bosch, which opened its doors in mid-February, senses the same trend. "We obviously have a lot of double rooms, but we noticed a lot of demand for triple rooms even before the official opening. Since we like to offer our guests high-level comfort, we decided to check out the range of sofa beds at Linnenatwork. These are very convenient to meet guest demand. Moreover, the quality turned out to be good."
Van de Wiel had previously contacted Linnenatwork to assess whether the collection matched the hotel's style. "Initially, it was mainly about their linen collection and whether they could advise us on choosing the right laundry. I was immediately offered four different quotes to choose from. That proves how much they think with the customer. That appealed to me enormously. Our design agency told me about Linnenatwork's sofa sofas. The different designs and wide variety of fabrics surprised me in a positive way. I was worried that a sofa would detract from the design of the hotel room, but now it turns out we have a real eye-catcher."
Joost Verrest is content with Van der Wiel's words. "Our aim is to be a partner in comfort. Of course there are more suppliers in the market, but there is a lot of supply in sofa beds, for example, that are not suitable for intensive use. We create sofa beds in many designs with very good sitting properties as well as sleeping comfort. With one action, housekeeping can unfold the sofa and literally create a family room in no time. Sofa beds are also available in single versions and without a bed system, allowing you to create a total sitting area in your hotel room with the desired number of sleeping places."
At Linnenatwork, it is important to ensure that guests feel at home in a hotel, resort or B&B. "During a hotel stay, they want to experience the comforts of home and at the same time bathe in luxury for a while. We love contributing to those special moments. The hotelier need not see the investment as a cost but rather as additional revenue. Incidentally, not every sofa bed is the same so Verrest knows. "Some use it as an emergency facility and others as a full-fledged bed including a very good mattress and spring system. We offer a choice of mattresses from ten centimetres rising to eighteen centimetres with maximum comfort. Our sofa beds are available in lots of upholstery and colours. Everything is adaptable to the concept of the hotel room."
Apart from Hotel Ryder, more hotels have come forward, deliberately choosing Linnenatwork's extensive sofa bed collection. "We now also supply Hilton. At a rapid pace, more and more hotels are making the choice of sofa beds. Interested parties can view the complete collection on our new website. There, the full range of sofa beds is highlighted in detail. We will also be present at the Independent Hotelshow in March at RAI Amsterdam."
