The last month of the year is upon us. As we look ahead to 2025, a bitter pill awaits: the VAT increase. Politicians have announced that the low rate will go from 9 per cent to 21 per cent and unfortunately, lodgings not spared. While parts of the hospitality and culture sector may be spared, the hotel industry seems to get the bill.
